OK So I know I have posted this Picture before but my thought today was Missionaries!! We went to workout this morning at 24 hour fitness and we had Missionaries coming up to us ( that we know from having in our area) Telling us all hi!! It was weird knowing this many people in the gym at 5:30 a.m. oh and these weird kids of mine are now making me go tomorrow on a Saturday!! What great kids huh??

My new workout Buddies!! We are working out Monday, Wednesday, and Fridays at 5:00 a.m.
They are both helping me meet my goal of losing my 7lbs. What great kids huh!! 37 days to go!!

Is this me or what!! Todays picture!! 38 days until my crusie which means 38 days left to be on my diet and loose my last 7 pounds!! That is my goal and how come when you are trying to be good all you see if things you can't have!!

Project 365

I am going to start a new project 365. Which means that I will post a picture a day. I am excited about this I am feeling like this is a huge challenge for me. I told a friend that I should call it project 350 because it will be hard to come up with a picture a day. This is such a great way to see things in a different way. So everyday I will post a picture then a little tidbit about my day. This is a great way for me to capture an entire year. Wish me luck...

What would I ever do without my phone. Today was a taking care of things day!! I feel like I took care of a lot of little things!! And I Love my Cell Phone.

AIR FORCE ONE & THE OVAL OFFICE

This weekend we went to the Ronald Reagen Presidential Library where they hold the Air Force One that he used while in office. Along with Marine 1 and The Oval office he had while in the White House. It was really interesting if you are ever able to go I would recommend it. Kelsi and Jacob both had a great time and learned a lot. It is in Simi Valley, CA. I hope you enjoy some of the pictures. There were so many great pictures of History I had to do another slide show.

This is the Oval office just as President Ronald Regan had it in the White house. All the way down to the door exits and rug.

Prime Rib

So we tried for the first time last year to make our own prime rib and it didn't turn out to well. So we thought we would try it again. This year with a little help from some advice from a friend we had the best Prime Rib for New Years Day Dinner. I just had to take a picture of it.



The Missionaries also joined us again. It was nice to have Elder Smith Join us again so Richard could show him how good his second Prime Rib was. ( He was here last year fro the 1st one that tasted not so good poor guy!!) We will miss him next Christmas. Although he said that he would make us one if we wanted to go to Utah!!

MORE VEGAS PICTURES

A LAS VEGAS CHRISTMAS

When we got up on Christmas morning we opened presents and had a great Breakfast that Richard cooked for us. Then the plans were to go to Universal Studios again like Thanksgiving ( because we had such a blast) But of course with the weather lately it was not possible. So as we sat on the couch tyring to decide what we were going to do Richard said, lets go to Vegas. Within 1/2 hour we were in the car on our way. We were able to get a room at The Mandalay Bay in the suite tower, THE hotel

When we showed up and registered the lady says OH the Penthouse Suite. I think I looked at her funny because she re looked at it and says oh we didn't have anymore of the suites you wanted so we are upgrading you to the Penthouse suite. She said it is all the way up on the 61st. floor and is a beautiful room. So I tell the kids sorry guys but they didn't have the room we ordered it is much smaller but it is only 1 night and we can still have a blast!! ( they had no idea what they were about to see)

We walk in to this room. 1850 sq ft. Large, this is what it had.

With a bedroom, living room, family room, dining room, 5 plasma tv's, 2 bathrooms, a Jacques bathtub, (Jacob and Kelsi both enjoyed a long bath) a shower that had a sauna in it, a budae ( how do you spell that??) It was playing beautiful Christmas music through out, You can see the windows in the picture they went through out all the rooms, all the way across what a great view. I have never been in a room like this. When we got home we were all wondering how much this room really costs. We paid $159.00 for the night. It goes from $500-900 depending on the day of the week, per night. Yiks I guess I will never see one again. It was fun though.

EXTRA EXTRA!!

Did you see us on TV Dec 26th ?? When we were in Las Vegas they were asking people what they thought Oprah would be doing after her contract of her show comes due. Richard and I made the cut.



Poor Jacob didn't make the cut but, he sure looks good. It was no surprise that he got it in just 2 takes!!





But I was the only one who got it on my first take.

Christmas Eve with the Missionaries

We had Christmas Eve with the Missionaries again this year!! We had a great time. They came over for dinner. The funny thing is Elder Smith was with us last year as well, which is a very odd thing to happen. Usually an elder would have moved and not been in this area but because of a health issue he had he went home for a few weeks and they sent him back to this area. We had another great year with him. We will miss him next year!! Elder Lial is from Argentina and he was so excited to discover Google Earth. He was able to show us some places in his Country. When he left he said he felt like he had gone home for the holidays. This is his first year away which I hear is the hardest so I am glad he enjoyed himself.

IT IS STILL SNOWING SLIDE SHOW PART 2

It is still snowing!! It started today at 7 a.m. and has not stopped!! I guess it has never snowed like this ever in the Antelope Valley. The last time it snowed even close to this was back in 1995. I just had to post a few more pictures!! The main reason was for my Love Richard!! He is snowed out and can not get home!! He left this morning really early to beat the snow but later today they closed all the passes to get home, he kept on telling me it will stop and I will be home. Well it is now 5:30p.m. and guess what all the passes are still closed!! I love you Richard, sleep well!!
