Learning more digital scrapping!!

Ok so I got this new computer!!  Didn't know how to use it??  So I took a class to find a few things out!!  Well worth the money..  So I had to show you all what I learned how to do. First I learned ( not showing) how to give Richard's legs a tan!!  Pretty cool...  This is a picture you have already seen but I liked that caption on the bottom and I wanted something to go with it so I thought this was appropriate.  I gave it a little rough look because it was with Jacob in it.  But the picture kind of fades out into the layout!!  Thats what I learned pretty cool!! 

The Sheep are back!!

I am not sure if you are all tired of seeing the Sheep but each time they come I just have to take pictures of them. This is the view looking out my front door I just love it.  You can see the Poppies that we got, nothing like last year but still really beautiful.  Well now they are all gone.  The Poppies have been eaten.  We opened the door the other day and were just listening to the Sheep it was so neat!! 

Kelsi's Volcano Project

This was at the Hunnington Library ( Not in April I didn't relize I had no pictures taken in April!!) It is so beautiful.  If you live in Southern CA you have to go check this place out. Kelsi and a friend went with me.  This is a picture of Kelsi just being silly running around the grassy area.   

Easter Pictures 2009

Gina is so good at getting everyone to play games here is a couple of picture of the games!!

You had to transfer the pretzel from one straw to the other it was so funny!! Do you see how close the straw is to going up Jacob's nose.

This game was fun for everyone watching.  We hide a piece of Bubble gum in a plate of whip cream. With no hands you had to find the gum chew it up and blow a bubble first.  All with your eyes closed.  So of course we would help get whip cream everywhere. 
We enjoyed a few more games but my page would go on forever.  I think everyone had a great time and I so appreciate Anthony and Gina  for opening their home to make us all have a great Easter.

Kelsi was a HERO!!

I got a call at work the other day from Kelsi, I asked her how her day was and she said it was really great. She had a little pep in her voice so I asked what was so great.  She told me when she got home from school she came around the corner and there was a baby walking down the street.  ( Yah my jaw dropped just like yours is right now there are no babies that even live on our street.) I asked her what she did and she said she got him out of the street and called Dad!!  Richard told her to call the police and so she did.  She stayed outside with the toddler.  A neighbor came out as well and they were all just waiting.  Then the mom I guess came around the corner and came and got the toddler.  She was walking so she couldn't get the license plate or anything and I am not sure really what the mom said. The police came and interviewed Kelsi and the neighbor but they didn't have much info because they were not sure where they lived.  At the end of the story when she was telling me she ended and said " mom I was like a HERO today!!! That baby could have really gotten hurt if a car would have came around the corner." She did a great Job!!  

Spring Break Disneyland Pictures!!

Yiks!!  I am a little behind.  The week after Universal Kelsi and I went to Disney land.  We were able to stay for a couple of days and kick it in a hotel for the night.  We were able to go swimming and eat and eat!!  Oh did I say we ate a little!!  Yiks damage control was needed when we got home.  We had a very nice time though.  They started a new show on the main street that was really fun.  We didn't sit in the right place but in June when we go back we know right where to sit.  (Grandma and Grandpa, my sister, cousin, and nephew are coming too).  We went back and saw the fireworks that night which was really nice.  Again sat in the wrong spot of course, we sat in the spot for 2 hours thinking we had the perfect place to see WRONG!!  So we know again right where to sit.  But in all these wrong seats we had a really nice time just hanging out with each other.  Spring break has come to a end but Kelsi told me today that there is only 9 more weeks of school so I am looking forward to that!!  We had a really nice break with our 2 mini vacations!! 

Jacob made it to school!! April 8,2009

 Jacob wanted to give it a try actually ride his Unicycle to school 1 day before the school year was over.  This was his goal when he got it for Christmas.  He tried it today and made it.  He just called and said he was able to do it and ride it the 1-1/2 - 2 miles to school which is a long ride on one wheel.  He really wished that he got the juggling thing down but I guess he is still needing a little more practice on that!!  He told a lot of people he was going to do it so he wouldn't back out of it.  Everyday he goes and gets the mail on it and has been improving.  Although the other day was a sad day he got his earphones caught up in the wheel and it cut it off so now he only has 1/2 an earphone set.  I will have to tell you how he gets home because it is uphill to come home and the winds usually kick up right when he gets off school.  

Our Trip To Universal Studios

We took a trip to Universal Studios the beginning of spring break but I have been so busy with spring break, work, my new computer ( I love it) and just life I haven't had time to get on here so there will probably be many updates the next few days.  The whole family went and took a friend so everyone had a really great time.  Here are some pictures of the day...
