Is this the coolest sand sculpture. They had about 6 of them on the beach at one of our stops!! I was bummed because I didn't realize there was a shadow on the others so the pictures didn't turn out so good!! They would go by and spray them with water to keep them looking good. This is how they make a living as they always except tips.

We enjoyed a few long walks on the beach!! It was nice and peaceful!! Richard hates sand so I had to torture him a little and get his feet full of sand!! Of course the camera had to come out!!

Our Trip begins!!

I tell you I really tried to be dedicated on this whole blog a picture a day thing I even brought my computer and tried to send a picture a day while we were gone but due to Internet difficulties I was unable to do it!! So I will post a few of the vacation we had a really great time but as always it is really nice to be home. More to come tomarrow!!

February 8,2009 We had to say goodbye!!

We had to say goodbye to a wonderful Elder. We loved having this guy over and has become a really close friend. Because he was here for so long, due to him coming back we got to spend 2 Christmas's with him and he was here for 2 of Richards Birthdays!! We know another wonderful Elder is coming but we will miss him. Elder Smith!!

Jacob tells me he will be right back. He has a broom and a mop in his hand. A moment later he starts singing "Baby come back" I just about fell over laughing. Then comes out the broom. So we had to do a replay because I didn't have my camera out!! The poor Target guy I think was about to kick us out. So Jacob tells me he wants to go hang out at the mop asle and do it to a stranger. Boy we just don't have a life do we??

February 5,2009 Kelsi got glasses!!

Have you noticed my camera is starting to go everywhere with me. It just wouldn't be the same if I didn't get a picture of the very first time she tried on her glasses. I think she just looks so cute with them on!!

I really hate going to the DMV!! Now they are even busier because they are closed 2 days a month!! Good for our state but bad when you have to stay in line!! Yiks 2 times in 1 week is just to much for me.

Happy Birthday Jessica!! We went to Disneyland for her birthday!! You know this year you get in free on your birthday!! Here are some pictures of the day!! Kelsi played hookie with us (don't tell anyone). They also give you a button to wear, which was fun because everyone wished her Happy Birthday!! She said I feel so special so many people are wishing me Happy Birthday!!

The day before Jessica's Birthday!! We stayed at a hotel by Disneyland. My kids are so weird. I got a nice room with 2 queen beds in a bedroom and a couch in another room. What do they pick to sleep on the pull out couch!! While the nice queen bed was in the other room empty!! But they were happy I guess that's all the matters!! I just had to take a shot of it!!

Do you ever wonder when you see a gift card on the sidewalk if it has any money left on it?? So Jacobs friend was walking and found a Starbucks gift card on the ground and gave it to Jacob said he can have it. SO I had to give Jacob the lesson that most of the time when you find one of these it is because there is no more money on it. But we called anyway just to make sure. Wow there was $12.00 on it. So much for a great lesson. So he gave it to me because he knows I love there peppermint hot chocolate there!! What a guy huh!!
