Good Pictures!!

When we were traveling back and forth from Utah to California ( like 3 times in about a month) We stopped after a big snow storm and I got to take a few beautiful pictures!!  These 2 were my favorites!!

New Layout!!

Not that I had time to do it but I thought what the heck I am going to sit down and do something I really enjoy!!  So here it is!!

Yes I got the call from Jessica’s work I think you need to pick her up and take her to the hospital. She doesn’t look well and I think she is really sick. ( she had been sick for a few days but not that bad??) So I hurry to pick her up and yah they were right she looked bad. I take her to the ER and tell them whats wrong with her!!  In a matter of 3 minutes we were in a isolated room with a mask on her!!  (possible Meningitis). So the Doctor comes in and finally says I don’t think so I think it is strep throat. So they give the awful swab. about 30 minutes later the nurse comes in says MASK BACK ON!!  it is not strep!!  Puts an IV in her and says we need to test for the flu!!  Oh you think the strep swab is bad!!  They stuck a cotton swab up her nose ( she thinks they touched her brain). Took some blood and they let us be!!  I was amazed at how much better the medication in the magical bag made her feel!!  They came back a while later and said not flu it just shows a infection!!  We could go home and just let her rest!!  Ugh scary moments but so Thankful all turned out ok!! Now after being in a closed door room for 5 hours in the ER where does that leave me??  I guess time will tell!!

1st. Snowman

I know we need to get a little better at making a snowman but this is our 1st. one!!  

The kids had fun Sunday morning playing in the snow!!

The Cake Project!!

 Kelsi had a science project this year and she decided to do a taste test on the difference of baking a cake with applesauce, the regular way with oil, and the weight watchers diet soda cake where you just put a cake mix and 1 can of diet soda!!  

We had a little party for the tasting of the cakes!!  No one knew what cake was which and at the end they had to sign the card of the cake they liked!!

Mike and Hayley like cake #1 which was the regular way of cooking a cake!!

Allison, Jacob and I liked the Applesauce cake!!

But the winner which I was really surprised was the cake #3 with Diet soda!!

So the main reason other than having our family pictures done for my Christmas cards was Jacob's Sr. pictures!!  Here is one of them!! More of a serious shot!!

I love pictures that just have a feeling that makes you smile, this is one of them!!  Even though Richards head is cut off a little I almost think it added more feeling to it!! They each just look so happy!!
