I have to tell you all no we are not drinkers nor are we planning on starting!! Growing up my whole life my father( pop) He always seemed to have a can in his hand... I think is Coor's biggest fan!! He loves to drink it, nothing else just this golden can... ( oh water and milk too) So when we found out we could go do a tour I knew I had to take lots of pictures for my favorite ( ok only) POP!!! I don't think I ever stopped thing of him the whole time I was there!! Everywhere I looked around I thought of HIM!!
This has got to be the biggest can of Coors!!!
After I saw this sign I just had to call him!! ( for all of those who know my dad) could you imagine if he had Coors's Credit Union on his checks!! I was laughing so hard at this one!!
So yes you get to do a tasting at the tour!! First you get this little taste ( again no we didn't) and then after to tour you get to go to this bar and have up to 3 beers!! So Richard has Diet Pepsi and I had one of the best Root Beers I have ever tasted!! With a thick froth!! I loved it!!
I did have to ask if some of the locals came often to have the free beer. She said yes we have our daily regulars!! I told he yes my father would be a regular!! LOL!!!
The tour was actually amazing on how this facility works and how they use the water for energy!!
This is where they come up with the secret recipes!! I guess no one was working on anything today!!
They use wheat and barley I have to say this place smelt so good!! I loved it, kind of like hot wheat. But later that day we went to Whole Foods and we saw Vegan chocolate chips so I just had to try one!! ( why am I telling you this now with the Coors Tour??) Richard and I both had one and Yiks we almost threw it up!! It tasted just like the smell I loved at the Coors Plant!! Yes like wheat and Barley because that was what it was made with!!
