Anyone want to come we are painting!!!

Well I finally picked out my color of paint for the house!! We finally narrowed it down to 2 colors and we bought them to see what it would look like on the walls. So Let Richard loose in the house with a can of paint and I guess this is what happens!! This is a room we don't have anything in but white walls so I guess he thought he could do what ever with!! I had to take a picture before I make him paint over it this weekend!! So much for a 3 day weekend!! But the house will look good!!

My mom sent me this for a thanks you gift and I thought it was almost to pretty to eat!! Well I should say chocolate covered strawberries are always the best!! She thought It would be a good thank you gift and keep me on my diet!! Well I have to say I enjoyed every single chocolate strawberry!! But I did share the rest of the arrangement!!

Jessica's Prom Pictures!!

Ok So there are a few posting of Jessica this is her big year!! She turns 18, goes to the prom, graduates from high school in in a few weeks( Yiks talk about feeling old), Buys a new car.... what else is she going to do!! oh break her parents wallet!!! No I should say she is a very independent child!! I guess good for all of us!!

Jessica's 1 st. New Car

Jessica finally has the American Dream!! She has a car payment!! She has traded in her Escort for a 2007 KIA Rio!! She loves driving it. Although she has not made her 1st. payment so no buyers remorse yet. We finally let her drive down the hill on Sunday with her dependable car!!

SO NOT THE LOVE BOAST BUT IT WAS A BOAT!!!

GRANDMA BARBARAS BIRTHDAY CRUISE

It was a girls week out!! I think one of the first girls vacations I have ever went on!! My sister and I took my mom on a cruise for her 60th birthday !! Along came our cousins Mary and Jenny and My moms sister Betty!! So the young ladies got to share a cabin while the more experienced ladies got to share another. We got on in LA and went to San Diego, Catalina Island, then the final stop in Ensenada, Mexico. We all had a good time, although I think we were a little to busy!! It is funny how my sister and I are not late night people ( what a life we live!!) We both had to take a nap to stay up for the chocolate buffet that started at 11:30 P.M. Mom enjoyed all of her little surprises!! When she was tired of walking we got a lady on a bike to ride her back to the ship!! We had to save her energy!!

The first night we had to make sure we celebrated the reason why we all got to leave or familys to party the whole week. So they brought out my mom and Mary a Birthday cake ( the day we left it was also my cousin Marys birthday so we made her birthday just as special!!)

What is a great Birthday with out getting your room all decorated!! We broke into the room and decorated it all while they were out!! The other funny thing about the room is my mom thought we were going to be stuck in a small cabin that was only big enough for a couple of bed with no window!! We surprised her with a balcony suite!! I think she really enjoyed being able to sit on her chair outside and listen to the water.

And what was a nice birthday dinner with out a few flowers!! ok they only got one each!! It was so much fun thinking of different thing to do for them. They were always so much fun to do something for!! Thanks to my sister and Jenny ( my cousin) for all the help on thingking of the surprises go give them. Breakfast in bed one morning, although of course the first morning they were up before us and almost out of the cabin before the breakfast was delivered!! It is amazing what a tip will buy you on a cruise ship!! They will help you do about anything!!

POPPY SEASON

This is what Winter showers bring in Lancaster. Althought it only stays for a few weeks it is a beautiful sight!! This looking outside of our front door!! I love it. It was nice to see a little color in the desert!!

Easter Games

This games was cute instead of a balloon toss they had to pass the balloon to each other by tossing it out of the towel!! try it a lot hard then you would think.

FAMILY PICTURE ON EASTER!!

Anthony and Gina had the family over for easter. We had a really great time. Gina wanted everyone to come with a game to play outside, It was a blast to watch!!

JACOBS 1ST TRACK MEET HE WON!!!!

It was jacobs 1st track meet he did great!! Although a little confused because it was his first track meet. When he saw the guy he was running against he was a little scared. He looked fast he said!! He had to race him the Mens 200!! The start was a little scary because the other guy sure had a lead. But then something happened and he to a lead that I couldn't believe what I was seeing. And guess what he won!!!!

He was supposed to be in another race but when he got called to run the 2nd race in the Mens Varsity 100 he almost freaked out!! this is not right!!! I have to go talk to Coach!! So he was pulled from that race and went home a winner. He was not ready at all the race against the big guys!! He is on the JV tean there is a big difference in timing!! We will see how he does on his 2nd meet tomarrow!!I am excited to watch!

ANOTHER DRIVER!!! JACOB PASSED HIS PERMIT TEST!! YIKS

What a day it was. I think everything that can go wrong did!! First We thought we would leave to the DMV early and get this done and over with!! So we pull up in the driveway and Jacob asks me if I has the paper work of course I didn't!! So back home we go. Guess It was a good thing we left early because we drove back just in time for our appointment. So we wait our turn in the 2 lines we were supposed to wait in all to discover that I forgot to get Richard to sign the papers!! So off we go again and get it signed!! We finally get back as frustrated as can be!! After he finally got ahold of the test he did great he only missed 1!! I wanted to get a picture and of course I am sitting waiting for him and no cameras are supposed to be in the DMV so I have my camera hidding in my purse tring to get a picture!! But I did it!! so be happy you don't live on Lancaster!! Because there is another Miles on the road!! A prayer for mom and dad can always help!!

JESSICA TURNS 18!!!!

Jessica turned 18!! She had a great day!! I was very impressed by Richard he wrapped up her pink slip to her car!! She thought that was pretty funny!! Her big gift was in this bag that she had wanted for school thinking it was only a bag!! Ha Ha Was she surprised. She tried to pick up the bag and guess what it was a little heavy!! She finally got her laptop that she had been wanting sooooo badly!!! The whole day she was just glowing. I think these pictures show it off well. She has been such a blessing in our life!! She is truley a wonderful daughter!! I could not have asked for anything different!! I Love you Jessica!! On the other hand I can not believe that I have a child that is 18 yiks!! I guess that is the one good part of having children so young!!! I wonder if everyone has a hard time when your child turns 18!! I Feel old!!

Richard Turns 44!!!

We Celebrated Richards Birthday the other day!! He came home to some killer ribs that I cooked then Jacob cooked up the rest of the dinner, Rice, mashed potates, brussel sprouts, corn, and garlic bread!! He was a busy guy!! I have to say he did a great job!! When Richard got home Kelsi had the place all decorated. We topped the night off with Richard favorite pie!! The Missionaries joined us so it felt like it was a little party!!!

Richard is the kind of person who always wants nothing!! So I decided I don't care if he doesn't want anything I am going out to get him a present like it or not!! So I did my shopping got him his favorite Valentines candies then a movie!! Such my luck he loved the candies but he already had the movie so much for getting him something!! Now I have to go back to the store and get him something else!! At least He got a good laugh out of it!!

I had to take these pictures. This is looking out our front door. I am a little late on posting this but life has to go on!! Anyway this is from the big storm that happened right after New Years. It was freezing. We didn't get much in our front yard but I loved the view I got all morning. I think our veiw anyday is pretty!! I just wish it was green!!
