Jacob got a unicycles for Christmas this year and has worked very hard to get to this point!! I didn't realize how hard it is to ride one of these. He started out in our house on the rug ( not so slippery) with my dad on one side and me on the other. 
Did you know that walking sticks are like training wheels on a unicycle. He used them for a while until he finally found out that it is all in the balancing and how much you have to sit up!!
He can now ride up and down hills, around the corner and go around a few blocks!! His goal is to be able to ride it to school on the last day. Oh school is only 2 miles away!! Downhill thank goodness. He says it is funny how people will pull over and watch him ride it. I think he likes the attention!!
