Would this FREAK you out!!

I guess this month is the month of gross pictures!!  I know we live in the dessert but this was laying on my front lawn.  Kelsi comes walking home from school yesterday and she saw this!!  Oh my kids are so trained now  "wheres the camera"  So I think it is a deer or a wild dog leg. 

Yuk not what I want laying on my lawn and who brought it there.  What kind of creature was kicking back on my front grass enjoying a snack!!  YUK!!

Well ok not right outside the door but about a mile away!!  Good thing the wind blows East!! The opposite way!!  A friend of mine asked how the sheep were!!  They are not grazing by my house right now so the sheep are all good!!

Prayers for a Soldier

A dear friend of mine Tim Waldron was hurt this week while doing a live exercise in Africa.  This is his blog timwaldron.blogspot.com . If you can please keep him in your prayers.  He is doing better everyday but has a long recovery ahead of him.

Foot Update May 29,2009

Just thought I would post a up date on the foot.  It looks much better then last week but still hurts a LOT!!!!!  I went back to work today but lucky for me I was in a meeting all day!!  Tomorrow (Friday) is the big day I have to leave my special shoe at home and go into my regular work shoe!!  How weird is is to be afraid of a pair of shoes!!  8 hours on my foot yiks I did put a bottle of excedrine in my pocket!! How often can you take them???

So Richard came home last night and we were showing him our fun filled afternoon.  We were showing him all the junk in this yard and he actually asked well how much is the piano??  I sure hope he was not serious but you never know with that guy!!

Scavenger Hunt May 25, 2009

Remember a while back I told you I was taking a photo class well I am really behind in it.  One of my goals while I was off with my foot was to catch up on my picture a day challenge.  So we went on a scavenger hunt to take some pictures. We all had a great time.  We visited a park, Taco bell, 24 hour fitness, and a antique shop. It was really a great day!!We had to take a picture of a food object!!  So here are some awesome tacos if you have not tried them go to the nearest Taco Bell and have a volcano Taco nice and spicy and wonderful!!

A picture of something I am committed to!!  Yep I think this is it!!  5 a.m. most mornings!!
Jacob got stuck in the truck, sat on a toilet,and  rode a really old stationary bike.  The kid had a blast at the antique shop.
While at the park we needed to get a few action shots so here is jacob trying to do who knows what but there was some action
Another challenge was to take a Urban picture.  make the back ground not so pretty!!  Well here you go I think we found one.
I had to take a picture with 4 subject but I only had 3 so this had to do!!  Turned out to be a pretty good picture.
a Shadow was the challenge here.  due to the time of the day the shadow was pretty small so Jacob had to make this one interesting.  So a good pose did the trick.

Foot Pictures!! May 21, 2009

Here I am waiting to get numb for my foot procedure!!!
Jessica didn't get a picture of my face but I was screaming!!!  I think I scared everyone in the waiting room.  It was funny about 30 seconds after I stopped screaming the door opened and this guy came in the waiting room ( you could hear him talking to the front office) I am a new patient here.  I told the Dr. good thing he wasn't here a few seconds ago I think I would have made you loose a patient.
After he would dig out the plantar warts he then burned them.  This is the tool he used to burn it!!
Oh yiks this is the end result.  at this time my foot is still pretty numb but he gave me some good drugs just incase I need them!!  The bad news is there is still 1 more foot to be done.  He ended up making 7 holes and cut out 8 warts.  The staff was all laughing while we were taking pictures!!  We told him we were going to blog about it!! I think they thought I was weird before this but now it is confirmed!! We had them rolling the whole time!!

Happy Birthday from my crew!!!

I had a special delivery to work yesterday!!  I have the best crew I have to say they are awesome!! This was my birthday gift from them!! They also made me a cake and it was soooo good.!!!  I didn't share any of the chocolate covered strawberries and I just ate the last one!! Is that bad??  

A few pictures from Reno

It was a nice visit!!  A little to fast!!  I was sad I didn't get to see my father to much he was working, but in a month we are all looking forward to going to Disneyland with my parents and my sister and cousin.  

Hey at least I got a fast picture of him!!  I should have had him take off the Raley's Hat!!  I am a W---- Girl ( I can't say the company but you all know who it is!! other wise it comes up as alert)

The best for last.  I took many pictures of my sister and I just love pictures that you can feel.  This pictures just tells how I feel about her.  She is the sweetest person I know.  ( and she looks it in the picture) You can just feel her softness!!  I am one lucky sister to not only have a friend like her but to have her as a sister.  I love You Sis.

Picture a day class

Ok so I have this great camera!!  I love it and finally found a site that you can take classes with.  Like the one that I posted about tanning Richard's legs and the picture of Jacob.  Anyway this new class is all about taking better pictures.  So everyday she gives us a challenge to take a picture of something.  I am a little behind because of being out of town but today's challenge was take a picture of something that stresses me out.  Well you all got it,  FOOD!!  Is one of my major stresses not to eat everything I would love to!!

Lunch With Benjamin!! May 9, 2009

Ben is turning 18 this week!! We had a great visit with him... We did a little shopping, had lunch, and enjoyed the afternoon together.

DO NOT TRY THIS IN YOUR CAR!!!

So we went to Reno this weekend for My Birthday, Ben's Birthday and Mothers Day!! So of course we get bored in the car and decide to start taking pictures ( I know this is a surprise) So we turn the camera and take a few pictures of us!! As Richard says we are going to die!!! Then the 2 deer walk across the street while we are driving right after We took the picture. So we decided this was a really bad idea!! We slammed on the brakes and had a little laugh!!

Jacob's Science Project!!

Can you tell it is the end of the school year!!  I think this is the time of year all the teachers have to give projects!!  I hate these projects but glad the kids like them!!  Jacob had to make either Ice Cream or rock candy!!  I think this looks like a bag of drugs but it is NOT!!!!

He made Peppermint rock candy and surprisingly it taste AMAZING!!!  I will be surprised it there is some left for his class when he gets to school because he keeps eating it!!  Go figure the guy can't brown hamburger but he figured out how to make rock candy!!  

Jacob's Doctor Appointment

So Jacob had a Dr. Appt. on Monday for a cold he had and some Asthma problems!!  So we go see our Family Dr. ( Who is absolutely AWSOME!!) It was just really funny in a bad way.  I knew that the inhaler that Jacob was using was probably old but it was working for him and just thought I will get a new one at this Appt. So I open my mouth and ask him " Is it ok to use a inhaler that is a little out of date??" So he tells me yah up to about 6 months.  So he takes it from Jacob and goes and checks the date!! He says " Debbie this inhaler is 4 years out of date!!!" Can you believe what a awful mom I am, where did the last 4 years go?? So we were all cracking up about this!!  I love great memories like this, just glad my kid is alive to enjoy it!! He is doing good he has Bronchitis and a hand full of medications to take!!
